Crochet Handmade NICU Bonding Squares – Set of 2

These handmade bonding squares are designed to help provide comfort and connection between parents and their baby, particularly during a stay in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Each set contains 2 matching crochet bonding squares, measuring approximately 6 x 6 inches (15 x 15 cm).

One square stays close to baby (always positioned safely out of reach), while the other is kept close to Mum, Dad or another caregiver. They are swapped regularly so that baby can be comforted by the familiar scent of their loved one, while parents carry the comforting scent of their baby.

Scent is one of the earliest and strongest senses to develop, making bonding squares a simple yet meaningful way to encourage closeness when families cannot always be together.

• Soft, reusable and although washable at 30°C, don't wash too often
